If you were studying at school or your children do, it is the familiar situation for you to have some mess with marks. Teachers should fill a lot of different documents, children should handle with their school diary and parents want to control all this stuff. We develop great app that helps to have common point of communication for teachers, students and their parents.

Challenges and Objectives

We've been trying to use those SCRUM practices which would be a best fit, such as:

  • Daily StandUp Meetings which made team and customers to be on same page permanently.

  • Demo of the project to show the work that has been done during certain amount of time.

  • Sprint Planning Meetings to define precise amount of work to be done.

Results

There is plenty of different functionality in the product, most of which can be presented in a role-permission divided list with teacher role prevailing:

  • Create/Edit/Archive/Export Classes.

  • Manage class participants (students & parents).

  • Mark students' Attendance & Behavior.

  • Put Grades for students.

  • Mark students as distinguished.

  • Show class statistics & prepare exhaustive reports.

  • Create Assignments, Exams, Polls, Announcements, Files, Events

  • Message any user in the system.

  • Create Feed and Groups to share latest news and updates.

We are a Ukrainian company. KindGeek was founded in Ukraine; our co-founders are from Ukraine, and all of our team members call Ukraine home.

KindGeek was launched during the Revolution of Dignity and the beginning of the russian aggression against Ukraine. We knew it would be a long road, but our values were clear early on: at KindGeek, we do not do business with russians and wholeheartedly work for Ukraine’s future.

During the full-scale russian invasion, we continue developing high-quality innovative technological products while volunteering and donating funds. We work for Ukraine’s economy as our army resists the unprovoked Russian war against Ukraine.
